70 Offence to contravene codes (1) A person must comply with the scientific use code and any applicable code of practice adopted or prescribed by regulation, if the person is: (a) using an animal for scientific purposes; or (b) allowing an animal to be used for scientific purposes. (a) the person intentionally: (b) the use of the animal results in a contravention of the scientific use code or an applicable code of practice adopted or prescribed by regulation and the person is reckless in relation to that result.
