sec.9 Identifying tag— Act , sch 1 , s 2
For schedule 1 , section 2 (3) of the Act , this section prescribes the type of tag to be attached to a relevant dog’s collar and the information to be contained on the tag. The tag must— be metal or plastic; and be disc-shaped; and have a yellow background; and be at least 25mm in diameter; and contain the following information— the words ‘Regulated Dog’; a 24-hour contact telephone number for the relevant local government. The information mentioned in subsection (2) (e) must be engraved and legible. (sec.9-ssec.1) For schedule 1 , section 2 (3) of the Act , this section prescribes the type of tag to be attached to a relevant dog’s collar and the information to be contained on the tag. (sec.9-ssec.2) The tag must— be metal or plastic; and be disc-shaped; and have a yellow background; and be at least 25mm in diameter; and contain the following information— the words ‘Regulated Dog’; a 24-hour contact telephone number for the relevant local government.
