sec.56 Relevant local government must give renewal notice

The chief executive officer of the relevant local government for a dog must give its owner notice (the renewal notice ) to renew the registration for the dog. The renewal notice must— be given at least 14 days before the period of registration in the local government’s area for the dog expires; and state— the information, for the owner and the dog, stated in the general register for the dog; and the period of renewal of registration; and that the owner must, within 7 days, give the chief executive officer notice of any change to the information; and include any other information prescribed under a regulation. s 56 amd 2009 No. 17 s 299 ; 2013 No. 41 s 48 (1) sch 1 pt 1 (sec.56-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of the relevant local government for a dog must give its owner notice (the renewal notice ) to renew the registration for the dog.
