sec.217 Restricted dogs and convictions under repealed LGA chapter
A dog that was a restricted dog under the repealed LGA chapter immediately before the commencement of this section is taken to be a restricted dog under this Act. A conviction for an offence under the repealed LGA chapter is taken to be a conviction for an offence against chapter 4. In this section— repealed LGA chapter means the Local Government Act 1993 , former chapter 17A. (sec.217-ssec.1) A dog that was a restricted dog under the repealed LGA chapter immediately before the commencement of this section is taken to be a restricted dog under this Act. (sec.217-ssec.2) A conviction for an offence under the repealed LGA chapter is taken to be a conviction for an offence against chapter 4. (sec.217-ssec.3) In this section— repealed LGA chapter means the Local Government Act 1993 , former chapter 17A.
