sec.212 Restricted dog registers

This section applies to a local government, other than a designated local government, until the deferred date. The restricted dog register must include all of the following information for each restricted dog permit in force in the local government’s area— the address of the place for which the permit has been issued; the following details for each restricted dog the subject of the permit— breed; colour; sex; the number recorded on its collar, identification tag, registration tag or tattoo for desexing; any other noticeable distinguishing features or marks; other information prescribed under a regulation. A restricted dog register may include other information the local government considers appropriate. s 212 amd 2009 No. 17 s 324 (sec.212-ssec.1) This section applies to a local government, other than a designated local government, until the deferred date. (sec.212-ssec.2) The restricted dog register must include all of the following information for each restricted dog permit in force in the local government’s area— the address of the place for which the permit has been issued; the following details for each restricted dog the subject of the permit— breed; colour; sex; the number recorded on its collar, identification tag, registration tag or tattoo for desexing; any other noticeable distinguishing features or marks; other information prescribed under a regulation. (sec.212-ssec.3) A restricted dog register may include other information the local government considers appropriate.

• (a) the address of the place for which the permit has been issued;
• (b) the following details for each restricted dog the subject of the permit— (i) breed; (ii) colour; (iii) sex; (iv) the number recorded on its collar, identification tag, registration tag or tattoo for desexing; (v) any other noticeable distinguishing features or marks;
