sec.208 Payment of penalties for offences against particular provisions
This section applies— if a court orders a person to pay a penalty for an offence against chapter 4 or section 134 ; and despite the Local Government Act 2009 , section 246 and the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 43 . The court must also order the person to pay the penalty to a local government decided by the court. s 208 amd 2015 No. 15 s 38 ; 2016 No. 28 s 71 sch 1 (sec.208-ssec.1) This section applies— if a court orders a person to pay a penalty for an offence against chapter 4 or section 134 ; and despite the Local Government Act 2009 , section 246 and the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 43 . (sec.208-ssec.2) The court must also order the person to pay the penalty to a local government decided by the court.
