sec.161 Grounds for suspension or cancellation

Each of the following is a ground for suspending or cancelling a licence— the licence holder is not, or is no longer, a suitable person to hold the licence; the holder has contravened a condition of the licence; the licence was issued because of a materially false or misleading representation or declaration. For forming a belief that the ground mentioned in subsection (1) (a) exists, the chief executive may have regard to the matters to which the chief executive may have regard in deciding whether a proposed licence holder is a suitable person to hold the licence. See section 147 for the matters to which the chief executive may have regard in deciding whether a proposed licence holder is a suitable person to be a licence holder. s 161 amd 2016 No. 27 s 71 sch 1 (sec.161-ssec.1) Each of the following is a ground for suspending or cancelling a licence— the licence holder is not, or is no longer, a suitable person to hold the licence; the holder has contravened a condition of the licence; the licence was issued because of a materially false or misleading representation or declaration. • (a) the licence holder is not, or is no longer, a suitable person to hold the licence;
• (b) the holder has contravened a condition of the licence;
• (c) the licence was issued because of a materially false or misleading representation or declaration.
