sch.8A-sec.4 Animal welfare officer’s responsibilities
The animal welfare officer at a livestock slaughter facility must— monitor the welfare of horses at the facility; and report to the owner of the facility— any potential risks to the welfare of a horse; and any non-compliance with this code of practice.
