sch.2-sec.25 Floor area requirements for farrowing pens used to keep breeding sows
This section applies if— only 1 pig is kept in an indoor farrowing pen; and the pig is a breeding sow. A person in charge of the breeding sow must ensure the floor area of the farrowing pen is not less than 5.6m 2 . (sch.2-sec.25-ssec.1) This section applies if— only 1 pig is kept in an indoor farrowing pen; and the pig is a breeding sow. (sch.2-sec.25-ssec.2) A person in charge of the breeding sow must ensure the floor area of the farrowing pen is not less than 5.6m 2 .
- (a) only 1 pig is kept in an indoor farrowing pen; and
- (b) the pig is a breeding sow.
