sec.94 Purposes of ch 5
The purposes of this chapter are to— ensure compliance with compulsory code requirements and the scientific use code; and prevent animal suffering; and promote standards of animal care provided for under codes of practice. The purposes are achieved by providing for— authorised officers to monitor compulsory code requirements and the scientific use code; and programs about carrying out the monitoring. (sec.94-ssec.1) The purposes of this chapter are to— ensure compliance with compulsory code requirements and the scientific use code; and prevent animal suffering; and promote standards of animal care provided for under codes of practice.
