sec.167 False or misleading statements
A person must not state anything to an inspector that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units. Subsection (1) applies even if the statement was not made in response to, or in purported compliance with, a personal details requirement or an information requirement or another specific requirement under a specific power.
