Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument amends EPBC Act export rules for the NSW Ocean Trawl Fishery: it removes the prior 2009 conditions and replaces them with two new requirements — catches must be lawful and the exemption expires on 19 April 2012. It affects commercial trawlers and seafood exporters by temporarily allowing streamlined exports while imposing a firm end-date to that arrangement.
