35 Amount payable by Treasurer
(1) [Section 35 Subsection (1) amended by No. 73 of 2013, s. 24, Applied:01 Jul 2014] The Treasurer shall, in respect of an operating year, pay to the Commissioner, out of money provided by Parliament, an amount that is equal to the difference between the expenditure and the revenue specified in the estimate approved by the Minister under section 27 .
(2) The payment to be made by the Treasurer under subsection (1) shall be made as soon as practicable after the commencement of the operating year in respect of which the payment relates.
(3) For the purposes of this section,
operating year means the financial year commencing on 1st July 1983 and each subsequent financial year.
