Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This instrument revokes a list of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) relating to Rotax piston engines and immediately re‑makes each AD as a separate legal instrument. It applies to aircraft owners, operators and maintenance organisations responsible for those engines.

The CASA delegate acts under subregulation 39.001(1) to preserve the ADs “in exactly the same form” as previously published (note). Practically, compliance duties, inspection and repair costs remain with operators and maintenance providers while the legal instruments and administrative records are reissued.
