Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument, made under subregulation 39.001(1) of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998, revokes a consolidated list of Airworthiness Directives for CASA 212 series aeroplanes and remakes each listed Directive as a separate instrument. It keeps the technical requirements unchanged (each AD is re-issued “in exactly the same form”) while shifting the regulatory documents into 25 individual directives, affecting aircraft owners, operators and maintenance organisations through changed paperwork and compliance/record-keeping arrangements.
