Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Revokes and re-makes listed Airworthiness Directives for AlliedSignal (Garrett/AiResearch) ATF3-series turbine engines, issuing each as a separate, identical instrument (delegate acting under subregulation 39.001(1)).

This changes the legal form of the ADs but not their substance: aircraft owners, operators and maintenance organisations who operate ATF3 engines remain responsible for meeting the same inspections, life limits and repair requirements, and therefore for associated compliance costs.
