#### 4CG Requiring production of licence or approval of nominee etc (1) An authorised officer may require a person who appears to the authorised officer to be in control of licensed premises to produce for inspection the licence or sub‑licence for the premises or the approval of the nominee for the premises. (2) The person must produce the licence, sub‑licence or approval immediately for inspection by the authorised officer. Penalty: 20 penalty units. (3) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence mentioned in subregulation (2) if: (a) at the time the authorised officer requested the person to produce the licence, sub‑licence or approval, the person was not in control of the premises; or (b) the person has a reasonable excuse for not producing the licence, sub‑licence or approval.
