4CD Identity cards
(1) The Secretary may issue an identity card to an authorised officer who is an employee of the Department. (2) An identity card must: (a) incorporate a recent photograph of the person to whom it is issued; and (b) contain: (i) the person’s signature; and (ii) a unique number assigned to the person by the Secretary; and (c) state that the person is an authorised officer for the purposes of this Part. (3) A person who ceases to be an authorised officer must return his or her identity card to the Secretary as soon as practicable after ceasing to be an authorised officer.
Penalty: 1 penalty unit.
(4) An offence against subregulation (3) is a strict liability offence.
