4AWTransfer of licence

#### 4AW Transfer of licence (1) An application may be made to the Secretary for the transfer of a licence from the licensee to another person (the proposed transferee). (2) The application must be made jointly by the licensee and the proposed transferee in a form approved by the Secretary. (3) Regulations 4AK to 4AO apply to an application under this regulation as if the proposed transferee were the applicant for a licence. (4) On a transfer of the licence, the transferee becomes the licensee and: (a) has the authority conferred by the licence on a licensee; and (b) is subject to the obligations imposed on the licensee by this Part and the licence conditions. (5) The transfer of a licence does not affect the term of a licence. > Note: An application may be made to the Administrative Review Tribunal for a review of a decision by the Secretary under regulation 4AL as applied by this regulation—see regulation 4CN.
