53 Conditions of certificates of compliance
The following conditions are imposed on a certificate of compliance: (a) if the certificate is in respect of a building: (i) the building must not be used for a purpose that is inconsistent with the classification of the building under the Building Code; and (ii) the building must be maintained in a condition that is consistent with that classification; (b) if the certificate is in respect of works: (i) the works must not be used for a purpose that is inconsistent with the standards to which the works were constructed; and (ii) the works must be maintained in a condition that is consistent with their use.
