sec.61 Amendment of planning schemes

This section applies to the planning scheme of a local government for the local government area within which airport land is situated. The local government must amend its planning scheme to reflect consequential changes to the scheme required because of the application of this chapter. Despite the Planning Act — a notice or amended notice given under section 18 (3) of that Act for an amendment mentioned in subsection (2) , must not state the things mentioned in section 18 (5) (a) to (g) of that Act; and an amendment mentioned in subsection (2) does not require the approval of the planning Minister before the amendment is made. s 61 amd 2009 No. 36 s 872 sch 2 ; 2016 No. 27 s 24 (sec.61-ssec.1) This section applies to the planning scheme of a local government for the local government area within which airport land is situated.
