11Failure to give information to the Secretary

#### 11 Failure to give information to the Secretary (1) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person is given a notice under subsection 7(2) or 8(2); and (b) the person fails to comply with the notice. Penalty: 10 penalty units. (2) If a person is convicted of an offence against subsection (1) for failing to comply with a notice, a court of competent jurisdiction may, in addition to imposing any pecuniary or other penalty, order the defendant to comply with the notice. > Note: Sections 137.1 and 137.2 of the Criminal Code create offences for providing false or misleading information or documents.
