Inspectors (1) An inspector that was appointed under regulation 14 of the old law and who had not ceased to be an inspector immediately before the commencement of this section is taken, on and after that commencement, to be an inspector appointed under section 21 of this instrument. (2) An identity card issued under subregulation 14(2) of the old law to an inspector mentioned in subsection (1) of this section is taken to be an identity card issued under subsection 21(2) of this instrument. (3) Despite the repeal of subregulation 14(2A) by the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise—Repeal and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2018, that subregulation continues to apply on and after the commencement of this section in relation to a person who had ceased to be an inspector before that commencement. Delegations (4) A delegation made under regulation 4 of the old law that was in force immediately before the commencement of this section continues in force (and may be dealt with) as if it were a delegation made under section 24 of this instrument.
