(1) As soon as practicable after 30 June, but on or before 31 December, in each year, the Secretary must prepare and forward to the Minister a report on the operation of industry funds under this Act. The report is to include any report of the Auditor-General under section 45 of the Government Sector Audit Act 1983 with respect to the audit of the industry funds for the reporting year.
(2) The Minister must cause each such report to be laid before both Houses of Parliament as soon as practicable after receiving the report.
(3) A report under this section need not be separately prepared but may form part of the annual reporting information prepared for the Department under the Government Sector Finance Act 2018.
