(1) An act, matter or thing that, immediately before the repeal of the repealed regulation, had effect under the repealed regulation continues to have effect under this regulation.

(2) If notice of an election is given to the returning officer under the repealed regulation, clause 39(1) before 1 September 2024, the election must be carried out in accordance with the repealed regulation, as in force immediately before 1 September 2024, despite the repeal.

(3) For the purposes of the election under subsection (2), the Wine Grapes Marketing Board, referred to in the repealed regulation, clause 5, may be referred to as Riverina Winegrape Growers.

(4) A reference in a document to the Wine Grapes Marketing Board is taken to be a reference to Riverina Winegrape Growers.

(5) In this section—

repealed regulation means the Agricultural Industry Services Regulation 2015.
