25 Use of registered veterinary chemical products by non-veterinarian generally (1) A person who is not a veterinarian must not use a registered veterinary chemical product in contravention of subsection (2) unless authorised under a permit or an authority under the Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 2012. (2) A registered veterinary chemical product must be used in accordance with: (a) the written instructions provided by the veterinarian who prescribed, recommended or supplied the product; or (b) if no written instructions were provided – the instructions on the approved label.
