76AExtended assessment periods

#### 76A Extended assessment periods (1) This regulation specifies extended assessment periods that apply to applications. (2) An extended assessment period applies to an application of a kind mentioned in an item of the table in clause 2.1 of Schedule 6 (other than a timeshift application) if the APVMA gives a notice to the applicant under section 159 of the Code in relation to the application. (3) However subregulation (2) does not apply to an application if the application is an application to which an extended assessment period has previously applied under subregulation (2). (4) The extended assessment period for an application to which subregulation (2) applies is the period mentioned in column 3 of the table in clause 2.1 of Schedule 6 for the item. (5) Without limiting subregulation (4), a period mentioned in column 3 of an item of the table may be expressed as a period specified in, or worked out in accordance with, a legislative instrument made by the APVMA.
