#### 71A Fees for continued registration of chemical product (1) For the purposes of section 164 of the Code, the fee payable for an application for the renewal, or further renewal, of the registration of a chemical product that is made in a financial year specified in an item of column 1 of the table is: (a) if the application is for the renewal, or further renewal, of the product for a period of 12 months—the amount specified in column 2 of the item; or (b) if the application is for the renewal, or further renewal, of the product for a period for 5 years—the amount specified in column 3 of the item. | Item | Column 1Financial year | Column 212 month renewal | Column 35 year renewal | | ---- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------ | ---------------------- | | 1 | Financial year beginning on 1 July 2020 | $550 | $3,350 | | 2 | Financial year beginning on 1 July 2021, 1 July 2022, 1 July 2023 or 1 July 2024 | $600 | $3,650 | | 3 | Financial year beginning on 1 July 2025 | $700 | $3,850 | | 4 | Financial year beginning on 1 July 2026 | $750 | $3,950 | | 5 | Financial year beginning on 1 July 2027 and later financial years | $800 | $4,000 | (2) In addition, for section 164 of the Code, an annual fee (the overseas GMP compliance assessment fee) is payable by the holder, in relation to the registration of a veterinary chemical product, for each site outside Australia at which: (a) the product is manufactured; or (b) a step in the manufacture of the product occurs. (3) However, the overseas GMP compliance assessment fee is not payable: (a) in relation to a site if the holder has, in the financial year in respect of which the fee is payable, already paid an overseas GMP compliance assessment fee in relation to another chemical product manufactured at the same site; or (b) in relation to a chemical product that is prescribed under regulation 59 for the purposes of section 120A of the Code. (4) The amount of the overseas GMP compliance assessment fee is $1 000 for each financial year for which the registration is in force. (5) The overseas GMP compliance assessment fee for a financial year is payable on or before the last day for payment of the fee shown on an invoice issued for the fee by the APVMA for the financial year. (6) A fee payable under this regulation is not refundable if the registration of the chemical product is subsequently suspended or cancelled.
