#### 63 Method of securing samples (1) This regulation applies to an inspector who exercises the power mentioned in paragraph 131A(1)(g) or 132A(1)(g) of the Code to take and keep samples of any thing on any premises. (2) The inspector must ensure that: (a) the sample is contained and sealed in an appropriate vessel or package; and (b) the vessel or package is so marked as to clearly identify the sample; and (c) the vessel or package cannot be opened, or the identification of the sample removed, without breaking the seal; and (d) the sample is stored and transported in such a way that the composition of the sample is not altered.
