23Late applications for renewal of registration of chemical product

#### 23 Late applications for renewal of registration of chemical product (1) For the purposes of subsection 48(3) of the Code, the APVMA may accept a late application for the renewal of the registration of a chemical product: (a) if: (i) before the end of the period for making an application referred to in subsection 48(2) of the Code, the applicant requests in writing that the APVMA accept a late application; and (ii) the APVMA agrees to that request; or (b) if: (i) after the end of the period for making an application referred to in subsection 48(2) of the Code and before the registration of the product ends, the applicant requests in writing that the APVMA accept a late application; and (ii) the APVMA agrees to that request. (2) The fee payable for acceptance of a late application for the renewal of the registration of a chemical product (other than an application to which paragraph (1)(a) applies) is $50.
