#### 117A Notice of proposed suspension or cancellation to be given to permit holder (1) Subject to subsection (4), the APVMA must not suspend or cancel a permit unless it has given the permit holder a written notice that: (a) states that the APVMA proposes to suspend or cancel the permit; and (b) sets out the reasons for the proposed suspension or cancellation; and (c) invites the permit holder to make, within a reasonable period specified in the notice, submissions to the APVMA in relation to the proposed suspension or cancellation. (2) The APVMA must not make a decision relating to the proposed suspension or cancellation, as the case may be, until it has had regard to any submission made by the permit holder in response to an invitation under paragraph (1)(c). (3) A written notice under subsection (1) must specify the period of the proposed suspension. (4) Subsection (1) does not apply to a suspension or cancellation under section 119A.
