71Delegation by Minister

#### 71 Delegation by Minister (1) The Minister may, by signed writing, delegate to an officer of, or person employed in, the Department all or any of: (a) the powers conferred on the Minister under this Act, the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1994, the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994 or the Agvet Codes or the Agvet Regulations; or (b) the powers expressed to be conferred on the Minister under a law of a State relating to agricultural or veterinary chemicals. (2) A delegate of the Minister is, in the exercise of the delegate’s delegated powers, subject to the Minister’s directions.
