Commonwealth legislation
These Regulations set how the agricultural and veterinary chemical products levy is calculated and allow the APVMA to share information with a nominated collecting agency. They prescribe a three‑tier percentage applied to the total leviable value of each chemical product per financial year (0.63% on the first $1,000,000; 0.35% on the next $4,000,000; 0.25% above $5,000,000), effective from 2013–14. They also permit data disclosure to the Minister‑specified collecting agency to support collection.
