71 Class 1 licensed property agent to be in charge of
business—exemptions
(1) The commissioner for fair trading may, in writing, exempt a licensed
property agent from the following provisions:
(a) section 68A (Licensed agent in charge to have class 1 property
agent licence);
(b) section 69 (Property agent place of business to have class 1
licensed property agent in charge);
(c) section 70 (Class 1 licensed property agent to be in charge of
1 place of business).
(2) The exemption may be conditional.
(3) A regulation may prescribe the matters to be considered by the
commissioner for fair trading in deciding whether to exempt a
licensed property agent under subsection (1), or amend or revoke an
exemption.
(4) A condition under this section may be put or amended as if it were a
condition on a licence.
