36 Renewal of licences (1) A licensed agent may apply to the commissioner for fair trading to renew the licence. (2) Within 6 weeks after the day the commissioner for fair trading receives an application, the commissioner must— (a) renew the licence; or (b) refuse to renew the licence. (3) The commissioner for fair trading must renew the licence if satisfied that the applicant— (a) is eligible to be licensed under section 24 (Eligibility for licences); and (b) has complied with the requirements (if any) prescribed by
