30 Objections to licences
(1) This section applies if a notice (the public notice) is published under
section 28 (1) (Advertising intended licence applications) in relation
to a licence application.
(2) A person may object to the issue of the licence by written notice (the
objection) given to the commissioner for fair trading within
10 business days after the day the public notice is published.
(3) The objection must set out the grounds on which it is claimed that the
applicant is not eligible for the licence.

(4) The person making the objection must give a copy of the objection to
the applicant within 10 business days after the day the public notice
is published.

(5) The commissioner for fair trading may consider the objection only if
satisfied that subsection (4) has been complied with.
