165 Protection from liability (1) The commissioner for fair trading or an investigator does not incur civil liability for an act or omission done honestly for this Act. (2) A civil liability that would, apart from this section, attach to the commissioner for fair trading or an investigator attaches instead to the Territory. investigator—see the Fair Trading (Australian Consumer Law) Act 1992, dictionary.
