#### 38 Functions of the Advisory Council The functions of the Advisory Council are: (a) on its own initiative or at the request of the Commissioner, to provide advice to the Commissioner in relation to the Commissioner’s functions; and (b) at the request of the Minister, to provide advice to the Minister about matters arising in relation to the performance of the Commissioner’s functions.
