#### 52D‑3 The basic daily care fee The basic daily care fee for a care recipient is: (a) the amount determined by the Minister by legislative instrument; or (b) if no amount is determined under paragraph (a) for the care recipient—the amount obtained by rounding down to the nearest cent the amount equal to 17.5% of the \*basic age pension amount (worked out on a per day basis).
