87 Protected information
If: (a) immediately before the commencement day, information was protected information within the meaning of section 15 of the Aged Care Income Testing Act 1997; and (b) the information was acquired by a person in the course of exercising powers or functions or performing duties under that Act; for the purposes of the new Act: (c) the information is taken to be protected information within the meaning of section 86-1 of the new Act; and (d) the information is taken to have been acquired by the person in the course of exercising powers or functions or performing duties under the new Act.
