#### 35 Applications for approval for admission to a nursing home If: (a) a person had, before the commencement day, applied, on the person’s behalf or on behalf of another person, under subsection 40AA(8) or section 40AB of the 1953 Act, for approval for the admission of the person, or of the other person, to an approved nursing home; and (b) as at the commencement day, the Minister had not yet made a decision on the application; the application is taken, for the purposes of the new Act, to be an application made, on the commencement day, under section 22-3 of the new Act for approval of the person, or the other person, as a recipient of \*residential care.
