#### 24 Applications for approval in principle of hostels (1) If: (a) an organisation had, before the commencement day, applied under subsection 9AB(1), (4), (7) or (9) of the 1954 Act for financial assistance by way of recurrent subsidy in respect of a hostel; and (b) as at the commencement day, the Minister had not yet made a decision on the application; the application is taken, for the purposes of the new Act, to be an application made, on the commencement day, under section 13-1 of the new Act for an allocation of \*places in respect of \*residential care subsidy. (2) For the purposes of the new Act, the application is taken to be a valid application that meets all the requirements of section 13-1 of the new Act.
