73 Notification of entry of new residents not given before transition time

(1) This section applies if, before the transition time: (a) an entity was required to give a notice to the Secretary under subsection 63‑1B(2) of the old Act in relation to a care recipient; and (b) the period for giving the notice had not ended; and (c) the required notice had not been given. (2) Despite the repeal of the old law, the requirement to give the notice continues to apply, after the transition time, as if that repeal had not happened.
