Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This instrument approves an alternative way for Australian‑registered Grob G 109 and G 109B aircraft to comply with specified paragraphs of EASA Airworthiness Directive 2012‑0027. It requires installation of two borescope access holes and repeated inspections of nose plate P/N 109‑2160.01 according to GFA Engineering Order 2012‑3 Issue 1. The CASA delegate authorises the approval; aircraft owners/operators must carry out and pay for the work and meet the inspection schedule. The approval starts on registration and ceases if the AD is amended or cancelled (see s2, s3, s1(b)).
