2 Commencement
(1) The following provisions of this Act are taken to have commenced on 12 October 1994: (a) this Part; (b) sections 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11; (c) Divisions 2 and 3 of Part 2; (d) Part 3. (2) The remaining provisions of this Act commence on the ASTA sale day. (3) If a provision of this Act does not commence within the period of 2 years beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, the provision is taken to have been repealed at the end of that period.
