#### 69 Selection of applicants for adoption order 69 Selection of applicants for adoption order > > (1) Applicants for adoption orders in respect of particular children who may be adopted through an accredited adoption service provider are to be selected by the Secretary or principal officer from the persons whose names are indicated in the adoption register kept under clause 65 as persons who have been approved as suitable to adopt by that service provider. > > > (2) This clause does not apply in the case of an adoption of a child who is in out-of-home care by the child’s authorised carer.
