#### 53 Information to be provided to authorised carers submitting applications to adopt 53 Information to be provided to authorised carers submitting applications to adopt > > (1) The Secretary or principal officer to whom an application is submitted under this Part is to supply the authorised carer who submitted the application with information about the following— > > > > > (a) the education, assessment, approval and selection processes, > > > > > (b) criteria for approval and selection of authorised carers as adoptive parents in accordance with Part 3A of Chapter 4 of the Act, > > > > > (c) fees and the reduction or waiver of fees, > > > > > (d) the rights and responsibilities under the law of New South Wales of authorised carers who are applying to adopt a child under this Part, adoptive parents, adopted persons and birth parents or former adoptive parents of adopted children. > > > (2) The information may be communicated to the authorised carer verbally or in writing or by such other means as the Secretary thinks fit.
