33 Revocation of consent (1) A consent to the adoption of a child given for the purposes of this Act by a person other than the child may be revoked by notice in writing served on the Minister before the expiration of one month after the date on which the instrument of consent was signed but may not otherwise be revoked. (2) Service of a notice of revocation on the Minister under subsection (1) shall be effected by delivering it personally, or by sending it by certified mail, to the appropriate office within the Department.
