86 Discharge of interim orders

> > (1) The Court may, at any time, make an order discharging an interim order made under this Part.
>
> > (2) If the Court discharges an interim order the Court may make any order concerning parental responsibility for the child that it thinks fit, including, if the child is less than 18 years of age, an order declaring the child to be under the parental responsibility of the Minister administering the [Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1998-157).

> > (3) An interim order in relation to a child ceases to have effect on the making of an order for the adoption of that child, whether made in New South Wales or in another State or in a country outside Australia.
