89 Taking away etc of adopted child or young person by
birth parent
A person who was a parent or guardian of a child or young person but
has, because of an adoption of the child or young person, ceased to
be the parent or guardian of the child or young person must not take,
lead, entice or decoy the child or young person away, or detain the
child or young person with intent to deprive the adoptive parents of
the custody of the child or young person.
Maximum penalty: 500 penalty units, imprisonment for 5 years or
